    Definition:
One complete movement of an exercise also called (rep)

HOW MANY REPS SHOULD I DO?
The amount of reps you do depends on what your goals are.Are you looking to gain maximum strength and big muscles,do fewer reps, as low as 6 reps with heavier weights. To get trimmer and look more toned or simply just want to gain more strength for everyday use of muscle groups. do 10-15 repetitions with a lighter weight.

If you want to get bigger and stronger but also want to develop shapely, toned muscles, try training one week heavy and the next week light. You may respond better to one type of training than the other.

HOW FAST SHOULD I DO MY REPS?
Take a full 2 seconds to lift or raise the weight and 2-4 seconds to lower or return the weight. Using this rep process will prevent you from using momentum to lift the weight and assure your muscles are doing most of the work.

Always remember to maintain strict form and work to total positive failure while doing your exercises.
